Turning 6 years old, this 15.3h Thoroughbred mare is a really pretty and athletic prospect. She has been to a few local shows and jumped around cross rails with a junior rider, all with no prep. Currently, she is jumping 2ft at home and working on her lead changes, showing natural ability. She would be a great match for a smaller junior rider or an adult working with a trainer to finish her, but she could also be a lovely pleasure horse.
She prefers a soft hand and a balanced rider, as is typical for a green TB. She has a very level-headed demeanor and could be competitive in local Thoroughbred classes for TIP.
Mid 4’s to buy, and price is negotiable to the right home with Thoroughbred experience.
This mare is sweet to work with on the ground and wants to be someone’s dream horse. She was purchased to help her transition into her next career, and she has made great progress. While she is generally easy, she does have a few green horse quirks—she can throw a small “bitchy cow kick” at the canter if she hasn’t been worked consistently. However, it’s nothing dangerous, and with the right ride, it’s a non-issue. No rearing or bolting.
She does have some feed protectiveness, but otherwise, she is a kind and willing partner. Not suited for beginners learning to canter, but she is progressing, and this should be resolved in the coming weeks.
This mare has already started her new career in a positive direction, attending local shows and gaining experience over fences. She is proving to be a willing and straightforward ride for someone with the right skill set. With continued training, she has the potential to be a fantastic partner in the show ring or a solid pleasure horse.

Available for full or partial lease at Tulip Pond Farm. 6 year old very quiet and gentle TB showing in the very beginners through the 2’6. Jumping courses with lead changes. Nice mover. Would be great for local horse to qualify for TIP or pre children/pre adult at local and rated shows.
